  Are You Concerned About Inflation?

  i saw a statistic the other day that something like 25% of all the debt that the us has incurred since 1776 was created in the last 12 months.

  that's because they have printed so much currency and instead of letting that stop them, they are going to continue printing more to go on a spending spree on crazy green-new-deal schemes and union handouts.. does anyone think that this can be anything other than inflationary?

  they are effectively stealing the wealth of everyone to then hand money out to people.

  My (faulty at times) memory says some things have doubled over the last 2 or 3 years.

  I don't know if it is factored in, but things that would store seldom go on sale. We used to buy extra peanut butter, detergent, canned goods, anything we would use when it was on special. I still have to argue with myself to buy things without the shopping around. The extra gasoline is an ignored consideration. We still plan, Walmart produce is usually poorer quality than a further away grocer, and there are still a few luxury (Target couponed filet) we splurge on.

  how long after a fade does the local hall keep your records?

  so i have not been to a kh for 26 years.

  if i wanted to dissociate what would be the procedure and is there any gain in doing it so long after i left?.

  I think the records are kept forever, but in 26 years will be so far back they are crumbly or misplaced. I have heard of records being lost so the CO has nothing to ask about. Why disassociate now? Open old wounds?

  Church after school dances, charity work. All partly done to attract members.

  Local KH has chains on the parking lot. Local church is a vaccination and food distribution lot. The bishops storehouse sent food away with the pioneers who called there😃

  Christopher Hitchen's is a better prophet than the Governing Body

  chris hitchen's (may he rest in peace) may be a better jehovah's witness prophet than the present governing body, who never got anything right!

  they also only decided putin's russia was king of the north after the persecution, too.

  he correctly predicted the threat by putin's russia and his use of the russian orthodox church as another means of oppression.

  Do any of you ex JW`s ever feel ashamed or embarrassed to admit you were once a JW? To your now friends / associates ?

  i ask this now because i have been living in this town for the past 14 years and the circle of friends i have now i have never let on i am an ex jw.. i`m talking about 30-50 people at least.. not that the subject has ever really come up , but i think they would be shocked / amazed that i was a ( i hate this word ) a "devout" jw for 32 years going around knocking on peoples doors trying to convert them to the religion .. yet every now and again i get tempted to.. how say you ?.

  Was reluctant even when fully in. I guess there was always a nagging doubt about pushing the "wonderful god" schtick.

  Mom let us trick or treat, birthday parties (others), no xmas. Thanksgiving was a family reunion. Dad was not part of the good ol boys club and kept quiet.

  In the 50s and 60s thing were more lax. At least we played with worldly kids, watched fireworks on 4th. Solo dating was allowed and we did get into heavy petting with no consequences. (Dont tell)

  My best friends mother took me under her wing and gave me my first legal beer, introduced me to family xmas traditions like decorating the tree.

  WT was right about the flag, military and some things but not by righteousness but rather just for the controversy. They misused the "my country right or wrong" as being in lock step instead of realizing we have a common allegiance to our home.

  so after jehovah kills 8 billion people "for not knowing him'" he is going to resurrect 100 billion humans because " they didn't know him" .

  the 8 million jw's will be tasked with educating these ones.

  that's 1 jw for every 12k resurrected ones.

  Supposedly the 8 billion didnt listen, tge 100b never had the message.

  All the infrastructure will be preserved and run on leftover lithium batteries.

  Meanwhile, the 8b will grow to 9b while we wait. I always wanted to be a grave digger

  Is the jab required to attend meetings ?

  My area is not included so far. When it does I will hide behind old age if I can. It may come down to the " parts" I am assigned, just like it is only then that I don a tie for zoom
